This was the hardest. Writers block, I guess. I was lying on my bed trying to concentrate on something or anything. It all finally came from a visual cue. A black screen, a cell phone ringing and the sounds of someone desperately trying to find it. Someone who was unendingly hopeful to hear from a person they needed. I guess my cell phone had been ringing often that day.
I saw "12 Angry Men" this year and I loved the camera choreography. Since then I have always wanted to do a project that uses a lot of that. This project seemed to lend itself rather well to it even though I eventually chopped the continuous movement up to give the viewer a disquieted feel the same as our hero experiences.
